I've used Spectrum's Test Prep books in the past in our homeschool. This was listed as "newest version" and I bought it without looking closely enough. The exercises are not simulating actual tests and contain many "explain how you know", written answers, and more common core mumbo-jumbo that aren't on multiple choice standardized tests. After using this book for over 2 weeks and having frustration with my student and myself, we've tossed this book and have ordered the older version (orange-ish cover). It covers all the sub-tests, including social studies and science, while this "Current State Standards" one does not.
